Methodology

How we compare vendors

Who's included

We compare a curated set of Australian corporate gifting vendors, selected for relevance to corporate/bulk gifting rather than general consumer gift shops. The list will grow over time; if you think a vendor should be included, get in touch.

Where our data comes from

Product, pricing, customisation and turnaround details are sourced directly from each vendor's public website. Review scores are sourced from public, third-party platforms — primarily Google Reviews and Trustpilot, supplemented by other review aggregators (e.g. Reviews.io, Judge.me) and public sentiment on forums like Reddit where relevant discussion exists.

We do not fabricate or estimate a review score for any vendor. Where a vendor has no independently verifiable third-party rating — or only a very small sample size — we say so explicitly on their listing rather than presenting on-site testimonials as an objective score.

The Gifter Score

Alongside third-party review scores, each vendor gets a Gifter Score out of 100 — our own composite rating built from the same data shown on their listing. It's not a substitute for review scores; it's a way to weigh review quality against other practical factors that matter when choosing a corporate gifting partner. The formula is fixed and applied identically to every vendor, including Cadeau Studios.

  • Reviews (40 pts) — scaled from the vendor's third-party review score out of 5. Vendors with no independently verifiable review score score 0 here.
  • Customisation (20 pts) — based on the number of distinct customisation options a vendor offers, capped at 5 for full points.
  • Order flexibility (15 pts) — higher for lower minimum order quantities; vendors with no stated minimum score highest.
  • Turnaround (15 pts) — full points if the vendor offers a rush/expedited service, partial otherwise.
  • Price transparency (10 pts) — full points if the vendor publishes indicative pricing bands rather than quote-only pricing.

The score is calculated the same way it's displayed — there's no manual adjustment or override per vendor. On listings, the score out of 100 is shown as a 1–5 star rating (score ÷ 20, rounded to the nearest whole star, with a minimum of 1) alongside the underlying number.

Limitations

  • Few vendors in this category publish full corporate/bulk pricing; most operate on a quote basis, so pricing shown is a general guide, not a quote.
  • Review sample sizes vary significantly between vendors (from single digits to 100+), which affects how much weight a score should carry.
  • Some platforms show conflicting ratings for the same vendor; where this happens, we note it rather than picking the more favourable number.
  • Details can change — always confirm current pricing, minimums and turnaround directly with the vendor before ordering.

Updates

We periodically re-check vendor websites and review platforms to keep listings current. Last reviewed: July 2026.
